Humanity was justified at the cross!!!

Rom 5:6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God's wrath.
Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?

Note that while we were helpless ungodly sinners who were enemies, Christ died for us, been declared righteous by his blood, will be saved from God's wrath, and we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son

At the foot of the cross were many helpless ungodly sinners who were the enemies of Jesus, yet He said, "Father forgive them for they don't know what they are doing". I believe the Father was in agreement with this prayer of Jesus and so their sins were or will be forgiven on the merits of Jesus alone. Mankind was declared righteous, or justified on that day as confirmed by verse 18.

Rom 5:18 Consequently, just as one offense resulted in condemnation for everyone, so one act of righteousness results in justification and life for everyone.

All are Justified

Because all of them have sinned and were deprived of the glory of God. And they are justified by grace without charge and by the redemption that is in Jesus The Messiah. (Romans 5:23, 24)

The "they" in v. 24 are the "all" of v.23. We know all mankind have sinned. Verse 24 then says that all mankind are justified by what Jesus did. Praise God through Jesus for being the Savior of the World!!!

God is the Savior of all people!!!

1Ti 4:9 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance.
1Ti 4:10 For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
1Ti 4:11 Command and teach these things.

People need to come to the point of believing God, not just believing in God.
I choose to believe that God is the Savior of all people and not exclusively current believers.
I say it that way, because I believe all humanity will come to know Him and trust in Him and worship Him.
Rev 5:13--- "And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!"

Very simply, if God leaves one creature (all created beings) unsaved, then the spirit of God could not have allowed Paul to write that "God is the Savior of all people". But we should note that Rev. 5:13 goes beyond humans and includes all creatures.

Praise God for His gracious universal salvation!!!

"For the sins of the whole world"

1John 2:2

"He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world."

Our dear brother John appears to be writing to believers only in this letter, but note the language concerning this propitiation, this sacrificing that Jesus did, "not for ours only" (us believers) "but also for the sins of the whole world". Jesus redeemed humanity at the cross, most just don't know it---yet! Ever since God took the blinders off of my eyes, I now read verses like this and just simply choose to believe what it says---and what it says is that the world's sins are no longer an issue---the only issue remaining is for non-believers to be granted the knowledge that God loves them unconditionally and God's provision of the conditions for all to come to belief as the Word tells me will happen! God loves you dear reader and has redeemed you!
